Vision Statement

Our School Library seeks to be an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected. The library endeavors to provide access and opportunities to students, families, staff, and the greater school community. (HCPSS) The library’s goal is to help all library users to reach their full potential. (HCPSS) Through the use of the library’s resources and classroom collaborations “[s]tudents acquire the skills, attributes and knowledge necessary to become global citizens.” (HCPSS) Through purposeful collection development, all students will see themselves reflected in the materials available in the library. Additionally, all students will find a safe and nurturing environment within the library’s walls.
